I am from the North of Brazil and I came to Ireland 6 years ago.
I have been in Orona MidWestern since 2019.
My experience at Orona
Back in 2019 I joined Orona and I started working as an Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller.
I've always loved taking challenges both in my personal and professional life as well. Taking on new challenges motivates me. That's one of the reasons why I decided to leave my country behind and come to Ireland.
When Orona offered me the chance to join the team and explore my skills, I didn't hesitate. It just proves how inclusive and trusting the company is.
The friendly work environment and close collaboration with colleagues it's something I highly value. It's good to feel you can count on the people around you.
Ever since I started working in Orona, the recognition I have received from my colleagues, is something I am thankful for. I've always trusted my skills, getting promoted makes you realize that your managers are recognising the hard work you put on daily. Feeling that appreciation not only from your colleagues but also from your managers is something that shapes Orona's identity as a workplace.

Work in a foreign country
For me the opportunity Orona gave me in the first place, even though I never had any work experience in Ireland with accounts, gave me the chance to learn the role and show my skills. I really enjoy working at Orona because of the friendly work environment and collaboration working with colleagues and for me is very important to have people around that you can count on.
